DM Teo Chee Hean calls on New Zealand counterpart

Minister for Defence Mr Teo Chee Hean met his New Zealand counterpart, Mr Phil Goff on Wednesday during Mr Teo’s visit to New Zealand.

Both Ministers exchanged views on regional developments, security architecture and the respective countries’ cooperation in Afghanistan.

Mr Teo also met other key Ministers, including Foreign Minister Winston Peters, and visited the Royal New Zealand Naval Base.

His visit to New Zealand underlines the friendly defence relations between the two nations.

Defence Minister Teo is in New Zealand until Friday.
