Queenstown - Cleaning and Painting of needy residents' rental flat on 31/01/2010

Mr Baey joined and thanked the 95 volunteers from Fairfield Methodist SS students, Avelife Foundation youth volunteers, Queenstown Youth Executive Committee members and Straits Construction Singapore P/L construction workers for supporting the project by PCF Queentsown to paint the flats of the needy. Residents of the 19 rental flats were elated to have a new coat of the paint. Tanjong Pagar TC sponorsed the paint and brushes / rollers. This is the 4th such project and the 1st to be organised in 2010.

A new wheelchair was also presented to an elderly malay resident who lives alone. The wheelchair will help her as her legs are weak.
