| Over the last few decades Singapore has built up interest in the arts and its arts institutions. Its next step to sharpen the development of content, to strengthen the country's cultural identity. It hopes to do this by providing funding for ideas, professionalising the traditional arts, and encouraging an interest in the literary arts. |
