The 38th PAP Central Executive Committee (CEC) appoints Mr Desmond Lee as the Party Chairman with effect from 29 May 2025. Mr Ong Ye Kung and Mr Chee Hong Tat are also appointed Party Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer respectively, while Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim is co-opted as a new member.
The CEC expressed its appreciation to out-going chairman Mr Heng Swee Keat for his years of leadership and service to the Party and Singapore, and wished him a fulfilling retirement from politics.
