PUBLISHED ON 21 Dec 2017
Residents in Jurong West can look forward to new two-storey complex in Jurong West Street 41, by the end of 2018.
The plans were unveiled on 17 December 2017, by Jurong GRC MP Mr Ang Wei Neng, who described the complex as an icon of Jurong West.

The complex will be located at the site of the former wet market and coffee shop in Jurong West which was razed by fire in October 2016.

Called Jurong Central Plaza, the project is expected to cost about $6.2 million and will be fully funded by the Government.

Besides a wet market and eating house on the ground floor, the plaza will feature an Active Ageing Hub, which will provide basic health check-ups, day care and rehabilitation services for seniors.
