The People’s Action Party’s (PAP) renews its resolve to serve and support Singaporeans, to build a future where every Singaporean can be the best versions of themselves – with a fresh team that can take action capably and effectively.

Ahead of the General Election 2025, the PAP unveiled its manifesto, titled  “Changed World, Fresh Team, New Resolve – Securing a Brighter Future for You. Speaking at the launch of the manifesto, PAP Secretary-General Lawrence Wong outlined the changes facing Singapore, giving his assurance that the PAP will continue to weather all storms with Singaporeans and seize opportunities to take Singapore further.

The manifesto builds upon the promises delivered by the PAP over the years and draws connections to the lived realities of Singaporeans shared during the PAP Government’s Forward Singapore exercise. It crystallises the PAP’s dedication to ensure opportunities for all, expand the pathways of success, strengthen support at every life stage, support Singaporeans to age with dignity and have a place to call home, and to take Singapore’s sports, arts and culture to new heights. Importantly, the PAP strives to renew our social compact and unite Singaporeans to confront and overcome the challenges ahead.

Team PAP members – Christopher de Souza, Faisal Abdul Aziz, Hamid Razak, Jeffrey Siow, and Poh Li San also echoed the importance of an empathetic, energetic, and experienced team to navigate Singapore through uncertain times and carve a seat in the global world order. Addressing more than 400 activists in attendance at the launch, they spoke about the party’s resolve to remain grounded and people-centred, and determination to make changes needed to bring a better tomorrow.

PAP Secretary-General Lawrence Wong concluded the event by emphasising that a vote for the PAP is a vote for a team who will give their all to make the lives of Singaporeans better.
