The People’s Action Party has announced the following candidate representing the PAP to stand for election at Queenstown Single Member Constituency (SMC):

Eric Chua was introduced today at Tanjong Pagar Plaza, where he shared his motivations to step forward and sought the mandate to represent Queenstown residents.

Eric Chua 蔡瑞隆 , 45 

Eric Chua is a strong advocate for social mobility, mental wellness, and active aging. He believes that everyone should have the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their families. 

In Queenstown, he has championed various initiatives – from SafePod for mental wellness, to the Senior Employment Taskforce, dementia-friendly wayfinding for seniors and many more. He has also worked to support lower-income families through food security initiatives and flexible aid schemes. 

Beyond policies, Eric believes deeply in building a strong and caring community. Through events that bring residents together and swift ground action during times of crisis, he hopes to strengthen the spirit of support and solidarity in Queenstown. 

As the MP for Queenstown, Eric stands up for policies that impact everyday lives – whether it’s caring for our seniors, strengthening mental health support, or uplifting families in need. 

Eric enjoys travelling and listening to jazz, classical, and concert band music.
