Introduction
Marcus Loh is passionate about promoting a meritocracy that celebrates a diversity of abilities and offers people the benefit of second chances. Convinced that everyone can shape and build Singapore’s shared future, he aspires to stand with others to create a fairer and more just society of new beginnings.
In 2015, Marcus started his activism journey volunteering at Braddell Heights before assuming the role of Branch Chairman at the PAP Sengkang East division in 2023. Within the Party, he had also been elected to helm roles in the PAP Southeast District Exco and the PAP Policy Forum.
An advocate for lifelong learning, Marcus serves on the advisory boards for Singapore Management University and the Singapore University of Social Science.
With a two-decade career spanning business, tech, and marketing, Marcus was formerly the group executive director for a global communication firm, a regional director for a tech multinational, vice president at a pan-Asian education group, and the campaign lead for a UN programme for Singapore’s cooperative social enterprises. Passionate about steering businesses to be a force for good, Marcus is today a director at a fast-growing digital transformation services firm, championing societal and economic impact for Singapore and beyond.
Marcus and his wife are new parents to a baby girl, and recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into their growing family. He speaks, writes, and reads avidly about international affairs, business, digital transformation, and societal change.
