Manpower Minister and Chairperson of the People’s Action Party’s Women’s Wing (PAP WW) Josephine Teo said she hopes to see the pool of women PAP MPs grow in diversity.
Mrs Teo was speaking at the PAP WW International Women’s Day Celebration.
At the event, some 400 activists showed appreciation to front line Town Council Cleaners by packing 5,000 care packages which were presented to Town Council (TC) cleaners’ representatives.
Each care package also includes a ‘Thank You’ card made by students of PAP Community Foundation (PCF) pre-school.
Rallying the women activists, Mrs Teo said, “The PAP is here to serve our people, in good times and bad, whether to counter SARS and Covid-19, or longer terms challenges like ageing population and climate change.”
