Mr Lee Hsien Loong steps down after 20 years as Prime Minister, leaving behind an enduring legacy of stability, harmony and progress that has benefitted all Singaporeans. Mr Lee’s unifying leadership and forward-thinking policies ensured Singaporeans could start well and age well in a time of fragmented interests and demands. Throughout his tenure, he maintained a stable political system that allowed good politics to continue – vital for a small country like ours.
