The People’s Action Party has appointed Jackson Lam as Branch Chairperson of PAP Hougang division with effect from 17 October 2023. He takes over from outgoing Branch Chairperson Lee Hong Chuang.

Jackson has been a Party activist at Chong Pang division (Nee Soon GRC) since 2013. He is presently Assistant Director, Operations and Mobilisation Division at National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). He is also a Principal Industrial Relations Officer at the Building Construction and Timber Industries Employees’ Union (BATU).

Lee Hong Chuang will take on the role of Branch Advisor, and assist in seeing through the transition for the PAP Hougang team to continue serving its residents. The Party would also like to thank Hong Chuang for his service and contributions to Hougang SMC, and we look forward to his future contributions in other capacities.
