Cheryl Chan – We Care Packs

I believe in caring for the community and uniting our activists together with our partners to serve our residents in need in Fengshan. "We Care Packs" is a ground-up effort by the PAP Fengshan Branch in support of Forward Singapore.

Through regular Meet-the-People Sessions and community walkabouts in Fengshan, I witnessed the needs of seniors living alone, wheelchair-bound residents, and vulnerable families. This was the impetus for "We Care Packs". In collaboration with partners such as Willing Hearts, the Fengshan branch distributes "We Care Packs" regularly during the festive season. Since the start of 2023, the Fengshan branch has reached out to close to 700 residents in need to spread joy over the Chinese New Year period through "We Care Packs".

In PAP Women's Wing, We Care to make a difference to empower families and individuals. Many helping hands work together to uplift families and individuals in need to impact lives one care pack at a time!
