Government Parliamentary Committees

The People’s Action Party (PAP) has announced the Government Parliamentary Committees (GPCs) for the 14th Parliament of Singapore.

Mooted by ESM Goh Chok Tong in 1987, GPCs are set up by the PAP to scrutinise the legislation and programmes of the various Ministries. They also serve as an additional channel of feedback on government policies.
