Rachel Ong – Carry Hope 2023 Walk-A-Jog Challenge

South West District Women's Wings are advocating the work of the "Rare Disorders Society of Singapore" (RDSS). RDSS is led by parents whose children are affected by rare diseases, and more information can be found here at www.rdss.org.sg.

Aligning with International Women's Day 2023, we started this partnership through our participation in "Carry Hope 2023 - 7.7km Walk-A-Jog Challenge & Carnival" at the Singapore Sports Hub on 26 February 2023. We managed to garner 193 participants to join us for the Walk-A-Jog and Carnival! Our 193 participants united with other 700 like-minded participants, walking together with over 100 beneficiaries and their families for this 4km and 7.7km challenge at the Singapore Sports Hub.

Another upcoming project in the pipeline for the next 2 months, includes organising a mini bazaar to raise funds for RDSS. Beneficiaries of this project include children suffering from rare diseases such as Lysosomal Storage Disorder and other life-threatening conditions.

In PAP Women's Wing, we act to help one another, especially those in need.
